Here are your top 12 usual questions about your stay in Valmeinier*: *The answers we give here concern mostly the furnished flats.


1. Our opening times 
Our opening times during the  season:
7 jours sur 7
from monday to friday :de 10h00 à 12h00 et de 16h00 à 18h00
saturday :  de 8h00 à  19h00
sunday :de 8h30 à 12h00 et de 16h00 à 18h00.

Our opening times during the rest of th year :
from monday to friday : de 9h00 à 12h00 et de 13h30 à 17h30.

2. Do we have to bring the linen and towels?


Our rates for renting apartments do not include the hiring of bed-linen. Hiring is possible in our office (7e per pair) as well as toilets kits including one bath towel and and hand towel (4e per person). We recommend to book in advance. Dish towels are not furnished. Throw away undersheets are given on arrival.


3. May we hire a baby-cot?

Yes, directly through our services: 15e. It is advised to book in advance.

4. Is there a laundry?

Washing machine and dryer are available in the resort  Valmeinier 1800 (payable service).

5. Is there a T.V in the flat?


Some apartments are already equipped with a T.V. T.V plug in each apartment. T.V hiring for 7 days: 40e. It is recommended to book in advance.



6. Are pets admitted in the flats?


Allowed in apartments without extra fees but must be requested when booking. Mind: owners do not all accept pets in their apartments so this request must be done on booking.
7. Should we pay the tourist tax on arrival?
No, you already paid for it as it is included in the price of your accommodation: this is an exclusive service specially for clients booking through our intermediate and which saves you time on arrival.


8. How much is the deposit? 
230e per apartment. Cheque or credit card number left at the reception desk on arrival. Cheques are returned by post within 8 days after departure if no damage has been noticed.and if the flat has been cleaned.



9. Should we clean the flat on departure?
Yes, it is not included in the price of accomodation. Must be made by the client or asked on request: studio and apartment 4: 35€, apartment 6: 45€, apartment 8/9: 50€.
Must be noted on booking or on arrival.
10. Where do we park our car ? 
Free and open space at a  maximum distance of 100 m. Minute car park in front of the residence.

11. We wish to book for ski-lessons: what is the procedure?

12. Is there a nursery in Valmeinier?

The staff of the nursery “La Galipette” in Valmeinier 1800 will look after your children aged   from 3 months to 10 years old. It is advised to pre-book before arrival either by elephone to   the Tourist Office: +33(0)4 79 59 53 69 or by mail to galipette@valmeinier.com or by  booking directly via the website: www.valmeinier.com
